The Best Deep Conditioner for Damaged Hair naturally depends on how damaged your hair is. If you have only a little damage, making your hair feel dry and scratchy, start with Biogenol Reconditioner. Should you need more help, add Biogenol Ultra deep Masque (adds strength and moisture) or BY-Masque. All three of these products are made by Framesi and are safe to use on color-treated hair. We also have clients with severely dry damaged breaking hair that credit stopping the breakage, and keeping their hair to Keratin Color Care Shampoo and Keratin Color Care Conditioner.
Keratin Complex Color Care Shampoo and Color Care Conditioner - can save your damaged and breaking hair. Note: Keratin Color Care Shampoo and Keratin Color Care Conditioner are have color coded tops and color-coded printing on the bottle, which we tried to match here for your ease of identification. Clients who have over bleached hair that is breaking and clients with fine frizzy dry hair tell us and all their friend how these two Keratin Color Care products saved their hair!
If your hair does not respond to any of the products listed above, it is time to pull out the big guns and use one of the following:
The Lanza and Kevin Murphy treatments can be customized for the amount of damage in your hair and your hair type. All three are designed as "in-salon" treatments but can be applied in the comfort of your home, which of course saves you some money. The only additional up front cost is buying a heat cap. Although all three say heat is not necessary ... Applying heat with a Heat Cap during these treatments opens the cuticle layer to further improves your results. (also see our How to Moisturize Damaged Hair page)
If your hair is in really bad trouble, you may also need to add
strength proteins. To replenish proteins into the hair, try Malibu Miracle Repair Power Protein Builder.

The
Keratin Hair
Treatment
by Coppola or
Keratin Hair Therapy is a new, revolutionary smoothing system
that infuses
Keratin deep into the hair cuticle eliminating up
to ninety-five percent of frizz and curl from the
hair, leaving the hair soft, shiny and luxurious.
The hair is more manageable and easier to maintain,
reducing daily styling time. For many, this is
truly a life changing experience!
(see before & after pictures on the
right)
We know, you are nervous and
money is tight, so you are debating whether or not you want to spend the
time and money to get the in-salon treatment. Well guess what? You can
do a mini test at home to see of you really
would like to have this in-salon treatment done on your hair! In
reality, this
at-home-mini-treatment is not the same thing as the in salon
treatment. However, you
may want to try a mini-treatment at home before committing to the in-salon service which, in our
opinion, is at least 5 times better than what you can achieve at home. If this
mini-treatment helps a little, you will want to get the entire
treatment done at your local salon.
For the at home
Keratin Hair
Mini Treatment, you will need:
1. A
Flat Iron &
2. A bottle of
Keratin
Infusion Therapy
You shampoo, condition your hair, damp dry
with a towel, then apply the
keratin infusion therapy to your hair while it is still damp. Then
Completely dry your
hair with a blow dryer and follow with a flat iron, ironing the treatment right in. Of
course, you are better off using the keratin therapy shampoo and
conditioner, as some products contain ingredients that will wash out your
treatment the next time you shampoo. Keep in mind that this is designed
as an at-home maintenance treatment for those who have already gotten
the full Keratin Treatment at the salon, so you will only be getting a small peek at what
the in-salon treatment can do for you.
